這件作品中企圖探討海上生活工作的群體及結構，以及海洋與現代人之間的關聯，創作者探訪了台灣老船長、不同國家的船員、東南亞的商店及小吃店。作品呈現不同文化、不同年紀的人，他們各自的記憶、感受、經驗中，與同一片海之間的連結。

This work is trying to explore the structure and the groups who work on the sea, as well as the correlation between the sea and the modern. The creator has visited old captains of Taiwan, sailors from different countries, and shops and eateries featured with the southeast Asia style. This work takes on diverse cultures to connect the sea with the different-age people’s respective memory, perception, and experience.
