這件作品從2020年開始,陸續購買不同月份、不同產地的蘋果,從水果攤店家及商業攝影手法的觀點,進行蘋果的數位化處理,擷取其精華面、保留部分記號,形成不斷疊加、覆蓋的一件3D虛擬蘋果。
食用蘋果到蘋果3D虛擬化,再從虛擬蘋果影像到食用蘋果本身,如此往返的觀看、對照,兩者的時間差異參與了作品,將食用蘋果虛擬化的第一個動作開始,是兩者時間唯一的交點,而「物 ⇆ 物」企圖探索的是兩者的往返過程中,所無法觸及的空格。
From edible apples to the 3D virtualization of apples, and then back from virtual apple images to the edible apples themselves, the continuous observation and comparison create a temporal difference between the two. The participation of time in the artwork begins with the first act of virtualizing the edible apple, serving as the unique intersection of time for both. The exploration in "物 ⇆ 物" attempts to delve into the spatial gaps that cannot be touched during the back-and-forth process between the two.
