作品:時空風景 V.2

Work: Spacetime Landscape V.2
Year: 2017
3D scanning, 3D printing, 3D animation

Details: The artwork is created by scanning a plastic chair using a mobile phone and subsequently 3D printing and projecting it for a collaborative presentation. This chair is one I frequently used during my residency in New Zealand. It is a common plastic chair found in Taiwanese hardware stores, which evokes a strong sense of familiarity when used in a different context, creating a disorienting spatial sensation. My intention is to capture the present moment through digitization, preserving the potential of time and space. By 3D scanning the chair, I document its current state as a representation of a chair that embodies both time and space.
